What does Watermark PDF do?
Watermark PDF places a text or image mark on selected pages of one PDF. For text you set font and color; for images you upload a PNG or JPEG. You also choose one of nine positions, size, opacity, rotation, and all, odd or even pages. Source page content and the selected watermark appearance are kept. A visual watermark does not prevent copying or prove ownership.
How to use Watermark PDF

Open Watermark PDF and select a single PDF. Unlock it first if needed. For an image mark, add a PNG or JPEG watermark image.
- 2Configure the mark
Choose text or image, font and color for text, nine positions, size, opacity, rotation, and all, odd or even pages.
- 3Apply the overlay locally
The watermark is a visual image layer. Source page content remains underneath. Clear space where the watermark overlaps page content will be harder to read.
- 4Download and judge contrast
If the mark is too strong, lower opacity or pick another of the nine positions. This overlay is not a rights-management lock.

When not to use this tool
Do not use Watermark PDF as Protect PDF, as a certificate signature, or as proof of copyright. Sign PDF places a single visual signature; Protect PDF applies a password.
If processing fails
An image watermark requires a readable PNG or JPEG. Encrypted files must be unlocked first. If the mark misses odd pages, confirm you chose all, odd or even pages as intended.
Privacy boundary
The PDF and any watermark image stay in this browser. They are not sent to a PDF Smart Kit application server. Close the page to clear both from memory.
