What does JPG to PDF do?
JPG to PDF places JPG, JPEG or PNG images onto PDF pages in this browser. You can choose portrait, landscape or automatic orientation and a page margin. Image appearance and chosen image order are kept. Image metadata and editable text are not added. Output detail follows the source image resolution. This is not a camera capture workflow and not OCR.
How to use JPG to PDF
- 1Add JPG or PNG files
Open JPG to PDF and select one or more JPG, JPEG or PNG images. Arrange the chosen image order before you convert.
- 2Set orientation and page margin
Choose portrait, landscape or automatic orientation, then a page margin. Automatic uses the image’s own aspect to pick a direction.
- 3Convert locally
Each image is placed on a page. The PDF is a stack of pictures, not a text document. Image metadata is not copied as searchable PDF text.
- 4Download and, if needed, OCR
Open the PDF and check margins and rotation. Use Scan to PDF when you need the camera, or OCR PDF when the photos contain text you must search.

When not to use this tool
Do not use JPG to PDF to capture live camera pages (Scan to PDF), to recognize text (OCR PDF), or to convert an existing PDF into images (PDF to JPG).
If processing fails
Unsupported file types are rejected. Extremely large images can exhaust memory; resize them first. If a page looks cropped, increase the page margin or switch orientation.
Privacy boundary
Images stay in this browser for the active task. They are not sent to a PDF Smart Kit application server. Close the page to clear the queue.
