What does Rotate PDF do?
Rotate PDF turns selected pages in one PDF by 90° clockwise, 90° counterclockwise, or 180°. You can apply the turn to all, odd or even pages. Page content, page size and page order are kept. Rotation does not reflow content. Nothing is intentionally discarded beyond unsupported source objects. One PDF is accepted per task.
How to use Rotate PDF
- 1Choose one PDF
Open Rotate PDF and select a single file. Unlock protected files first.
- 2Pick an angle and which pages
Choose 90° clockwise, 90° counterclockwise or 180°, then all, odd or even pages.
- 3Apply rotation locally
Each selected page’s rotation flag is updated. Page content, page size and page order stay the same; the content is not reflowed into a new layout.
- 4Download and check facing pages
Open the file in a reader. Spreads that must stay upright may need a second pass on only the odd or even pages.

Nothing is intentionally discarded beyond unsupported source objects. Text is not reflowed, so a landscape paragraph is still the same paragraph, turned.
When not to use this tool
Do not use Rotate PDF to crop a page, to reorder pages, or to convert portrait text into a reflowed landscape article. Organize PDF changes order; Crop PDF changes visible margins.
If processing fails
Angles other than 90 / -90 / 180 are rejected. Encrypted files must be unlocked first. If a reader still shows the old orientation, download again and confirm you saved the new file rather than a cached original.
Privacy boundary
The PDF is rotated in this browser. It is not sent to a PDF Smart Kit application server. Close the page to clear the file from memory.
