What does Delete pages do?
Delete pages removes selected pages from one PDF and exports a new file with the remaining pages. Choose pages with a page-range input or thumbnail selection. Remaining page appearance and remaining page order are kept. Links and bookmarks that target deleted pages, and document-level navigation, may not keep working. At least one page must remain.
How to use Delete pages
- 1Choose one PDF
Open Delete pages and select a single PDF. Unlock protected files first. One PDF is accepted per task.
- 2Mark pages to remove
Enter a page-range input or use thumbnail selection. Review the marks before you continue so you do not drop the wrong sheet.
- 3Export the remaining pages
The tool writes a new PDF that omits the selected pages. The original file on disk is unchanged. At least one page must remain.
- 4Check the new numbering
Download the result and confirm remaining page order. Update any references that pointed at deleted pages.

When not to use this tool
Do not use Delete pages to save the selected pages as their own file — that is Extract pages. It will not empty a document completely, and it is the wrong tool for redacting content that must stay on the page as a black box.
If processing fails
If every page is selected, the task is rejected because at least one page must remain. Invalid ranges are rejected. Encrypted or unreadable files need Unlock PDF or Repair PDF first.
Privacy boundary
The PDF is processed in this browser. Deleted pages exist only in the new output you download; the source file on your device is not overwritten unless you replace it yourself.
