Terms of Use
These terms apply to use of PDF Smart Kit. By using the service, you agree to use it lawfully and to review generated documents before relying on them.
Service operator
PDF Smart Kit is operated by Windx Ltd, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
Permitted use
You may use the service to process files that you own or are authorized to use. You must not use PDF Smart Kit to violate law, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, access controls or the rights of another person.
Do not attempt to disrupt the website, introduce malicious code, bypass technical restrictions, overload the service or misrepresent generated material as verified when it has not been reviewed.
Your documents and outputs
You remain responsible for source files, instructions, downloaded results, backups and compliance obligations. Browser-based conversion may change layout, fonts, images, forms, metadata, accessibility information or other document features.
Always inspect the output before publication, filing, signature, printing or use in a legal, financial, medical or other consequential process. A visual signature is not a certificate-based digital signature, and PDF/A-2b output does not replace an archive’s own acceptance requirements.
Ad-free billing and cancellation
Ad-free access is optional; free PDF tools remain available without it. Basic provides one browser-profile slot, Premium provides 2–20, and larger Business arrangements require direct contact. Displayed prices are in GBP and the selected monthly or annual period renews automatically through Stripe. The annual prices reflect the displayed 40% discount, rounded to pence. Checkout shows the amount before you authorize payment.
An ad-free code is issued after the payment processor confirms a successful payment. One browser profile uses one slot, even if several tabs are open. Different browser profiles, including on one physical device, each use a separate slot. Clearing browser data may require reactivation; a code reset revokes all existing browser activations without changing the paid-through date.
You can stop future automatic renewal in subscription management after verifying the purchase email and entering the current ad-free code. Access normally continues to the end of the paid period shown there. Stopping renewal does not itself request a refund. For billing errors or refund requests, contact help@pdfsk.com; applicable statutory rights are unaffected. Failed payment, refund or payment dispute may suspend or end ad-free access.
Availability and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Features may change, fail on an unsupported file or be interrupted for maintenance or security reasons. Nothing on the site is legal, financial or professional advice.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to applicable law, Windx Ltd is not responsible for loss caused by an unreviewed output, unsupported document feature, user device failure or use outside the stated capability of a tool.
Changes and governing law
These terms may be updated when the service or legal requirements change. The published last-reviewed date identifies the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply in your location.
