This policy explains how PDF Smart Kit handles files and website data. PDF Smart Kit is operated by Windx Ltd at the address stated below.
Document processing
Supported PDF, Office and image files are read by the PDF Smart Kit application in your browser. The application does not send the contents of those source files to a PDF Smart Kit application server for processing.
Files, previews and generated results may remain temporarily in browser memory while the page is open. Closing or refreshing the page clears the active task from the application. Files you choose to download remain wherever your browser saves them.
Analytics, advertising and third parties
The website uses Google Analytics to measure page visits and Google AdSense to provide advertising. In Google Consent Mode, analytics consent defaults to denied everywhere. Advertising consent defaults to denied in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland until you make a choice; elsewhere it defaults to granted, subject to applicable choices and law. A configured consent management platform can update these signals based on your choices. Google tags may send cookieless requests while consent is denied. Google and its partners may receive the requested page, approximate network or location information, and browser and device information; consent signals and applicable settings control the use of cookies and personalized advertising.
Windx Ltd does not provide Google Analytics, Google AdSense or other Google tags with the contents of documents selected in PDF Smart Kit. These tags receive no selected file names, previews or generated documents. Analytics and advertising processing are separate from in-browser document processing.
You can manage or block cookies through your browser, change advertising choices in Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com/, and install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on from https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Google’s own privacy terms also apply to data processed by Google.
Optional ad-free subscription
If you buy ad-free access, we use your purchase email, selected plan and slot count, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, payment status and paid-through date to provide and manage the subscription. Stripe handles card details; PDF Smart Kit does not store full payment-card numbers. Resend delivers the activation code and email verification messages.
Each activated browser uses a necessary, secure HTTP-only cookie. We store a one-way digest of its random token, a browser name you can change, and activation and recent-use times. Email verification codes expire after 10 minutes; management access expires after 30 minutes. Clearing browser data can remove its token, but the server-side binding remains until you remove it or reset the code.
Order, subscription, binding and audit records are retained as needed to provide the service, resolve payment and security issues, and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. Contact us to request access or deletion where applicable. We do not collect the content of your PDF documents for subscription billing.
Data retention and security
PDF Smart Kit does not create an application-server copy of the document content processed by the current browser implementation. Free tools do not require an account; an optional paid subscription creates the billing and binding records described above. Standard hosting and security logs may contain request information such as IP address, time, requested URL and user agent after the site is deployed.
No internet service can promise absolute security. Keep your browser and operating system updated, verify sensitive outputs and close the page when a task is complete.
Your choices and rights
Use the Privacy & cookie settings link in the footer to reopen the Google consent message and change or withdraw your choices where that message applies. If the consent service is unavailable, the link opens this policy instead.
You can choose not to select a file, close the page to clear an active task, manage or block analytics and advertising cookies through your browser, use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and use Google Ads Settings to control advertising cookies. Applicable privacy law may also provide access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or complaint rights.
